So I’m watching the Uruguay vs. Germany game at a bar with my old friend Justin from High School and he tells me that he just finished fixing up his boat and that he’s not going to watch the 2010 World Cup Final. Instead he was going to get up bright and early and go out on the boat. He invited me and after giving it some thought, I decided to do that instead.

It was such a great day to be out on the water. By mid day we were all bordering on heat stroke so we headed back to port, got in some pool time at Justin’s folks house and caught the last minutes of the World Cup Final. In retrospect, I’m glad I chose going out on the water over the match. What a terrible final.
