This past Saturday I helped my Dad pour a concrete slab for the foundation of a shed he will later build. I decided it would be fun to take a sequence of pictures to make a time lapse video. I learned a few things along the way.
First off, I didn’t set the camera to shoot pictures often enough. I set it for every 5 minutes. In hindsight every minute would have been better. I later did some batch adjustments in Adobe Lightroom to make the colors pop and adjust exposure. Lastly I exported all the images to QuickTime to make an image sequence.
Obviously I had to host the video somewhere, so I uploaded it to YouTube. So, with out further delay, the Concrete Slab Time Lapse. Everything happens very fast, I suggest watching it more than once.
For those who would like a more detailed view, I will post a few snaps really soon.
